Look better. Breathe better.
Rhinoplasty can do more than change the shape of your nose. Planned well, it brings your face into balance, opens your airway and gives the nose a stronger structure, so you do not have to choose between how it looks and how it works.

How rhinoplasty improves appearance and breathing
The outside of your nose and the airway inside it are built on the same framework of bone and cartilage. That is why a well-planned rhinoplasty can improve both at once.

Our aim is a nose with a stable structure, a clear airway and a natural profile that suits your face.
Aesthetic benefits of rhinoplasty
Better facial harmony
The nose sits at the centre of your face, so small changes have a big effect. Rhinoplasty adjusts how it relates to your forehead, lips, cheekbones and chin.
A refined profile
A hump can be smoothed into a straighter bridge, the tip brought into balance with the jaw and forehead, and a flat or sunken (saddle) bridge built up.
A straighter nose
Injury, genetics or uneven growth can pull the nose off-centre. Resetting the bones and correcting the deviation inside brings it back into line. No face is perfectly symmetrical, but balance can be clearly improved.
Tip refinement
A bulbous tip can be narrowed, a tip that drops when you smile can be supported, and the angle of the tip corrected, using sutures and cartilage grafts.

Confidence and self-image
Many patients tell us they feel more relaxed in social situations, more comfortable in photographs and happier with how they see themselves after rhinoplasty.

Functional and medical benefits
Widening narrow passages, strengthening weak walls and straightening blockages lowers the resistance to airflow, so breathing through the nose becomes easier.
Valve repair
Reinforcing weak valves stops the nostrils collapsing when you breathe in.
Functional rhinoplastyA straight septum
Straightening a deviated septum opens the blocked side and reduces mouth breathing.
SeptorhinoplastyTurbinate reduction
Carefully reducing permanently swollen turbinates relieves long-standing stuffiness.
Benefits you notice every day
Deeper, quieter sleep
Less snoring, fewer night-time awakenings, and less morning tiredness, dry mouth and sinus headaches.
Easier breathing when active
Weak valves can collapse during heavy breathing. Strengthening them helps the nose stay open during exercise.
A stronger framework
Older techniques removed cartilage and could weaken the nose. Structural rhinoplasty uses your own cartilage to build support that helps resist drooping with age.
Repair after trauma
Displaced bones are realigned with fine bone cuts, torn or collapsed cartilage at the valves is repaired, and a fractured septum is rebuilt to restore clear breathing.
Post-accident nose deformityOne operation for both
When shape and breathing are corrected together in a septorhinoplasty, you benefit from:
- One anaesthetic and one recovery, so less time away from work or studies.
- Your own septal cartilage, taken during the septal correction, to support and shape the outside of the nose.
- A balanced result: a nose that looks right and works well.
Why an ENT-led hospital setting matters
Rhinoplasty changes how air flows through the nose, so it needs a surgeon trained in both the airway and facial appearance.

Frequently asked questions
Is rhinoplasty only done for cosmetic reasons?
No. Rhinoplasty is also reconstructive surgery. It corrects a deviated septum, nasal fractures and blocked airways, as well as changing the shape of the nose.
Can cosmetic nose surgery improve my breathing?
It can, when the shape you want to change is linked to a problem inside, such as a twisted septum or weak valves. We plan every cosmetic change so it is properly supported and does not narrow the airway.
Will insurance cover my rhinoplasty?
The functional part, such as straightening the septum or repairing the valves, may be covered when an endoscopy shows it is medically necessary. Cosmetic changes are billed separately and are self-paid. Interest-free EMI options are available.
Are the results permanent?
The structural changes are long-lasting once healing is complete, usually within the first year. Your nose will still age naturally along with the rest of your face.
How soon can I return to work or college?
Most people return to desk work or studies 7 to 10 days after surgery, once the splint is removed. Strenuous exercise and contact sports are avoided for 4 to 6 weeks.
